Sent Soví Introduces New Winter Wine Program

Thursdays in the Wine Cellar, Specially Priced Wines,
BYOB Dinners and Special Events

(Saratoga, CA) January 19, 2009 -Sent Soví, a charming neighborhood restaurant in Saratoga, announces a new winter wine program for 2009. Following his passion for wine, Chef/owner Josiah Slone, believes in making wine appreciation part of an everyday occurrence, much as he encountered in Europe. These new efforts are geared towards making wine more accessible to guests.

On Thursday nights, the restaurant opens its intimate wine cellar for a more casual experience; tasting wines by the taste, half glass or full glass, and offering a new menu featuring French small plates at prices ranging from $2 - $14. Choices include oysters and bocquerone and goat cheese crostini, as well as heartier options ranging from croque monsieur to cassoulet or hangar steak. (View the menu)

Sent Soví serves over twenty wines by the glass at all different price points including prestigious wines not normally available by the glass such as Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon $28 glass/$165 bottle or Domaine René LeClerc Gevrey Chamertin Premier Cru 2005 $6 taste/$30 glass/$150 for the bottle. "Josiah's Flight of the Moment" allows guests to try 2 oz. tastes of two reds and one white wine for only $10 with a focus on diverse regions or highlighting unique wines and varying week to week.

Specially Priced Wines
In the main dining room the restaurant features a rotating list of wines for under $40 a bottle and a cult wine of the week highlighting hard to come by wines at near retail prices and offers wine pairings at two price points: regular or prestige.

Special Events and BYOB Dinners
The last Thursday of the month, the restaurant holds seated wine dinners featuring a fixed course menu paired with wines; the next will a BYOB dinner on January 29, when guests are encouraged to bring their own bottles to share and pair with Chef Josiah Slone's specially selected menu.

Sent Soví is located at 14583 Big Basin Way in Saratoga, California. The restaurant is owned and operated by husband and wife team Josiah and Khin Khin Slone who bought the establishment from Manresa's David Kinch in 2003.
